Construction is rising on 201-207 Seventh Avenue, a nine-story residential building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by Amie Gross Architects and developed by New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development under the Chelsea HDFC, the 85-foot-tall structure will span 30,859 square feet and yield 26 affordable co-op units in studio to three-bedroom layouts, as well as 1,828 square feet of retail space divided among three tenants. A.A.D. Construction Corp. is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 170 West 22nd Street and located at the southeast corner of Seventh Avenue and West 22nd Street.

Industry City Announces Three New Leases Totaling 33,496 Square Feet in Sunset Park, Brooklyn

Industry City, an innovation campus that spans approximately 35 acres in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, has announced the signing of three new industrial leases spanning 33,496 square feet. Industry City currently is home to more than 8,500 workers across more than 550 businesses, ranging from small startups and solo entrepreneurs to large enterprises.

18 West 55th Street Begins Ascent in Midtown, Manhattan

Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed and built by Skyline Developers, which purchased the property for $83 million in 2017 under the 18 West 55th Street LLC, the 289-foot-tall structure will span 152,084 square feet and yield 97 rental units with an average scope of 1,319 square feet, as well as 6,380 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a 10,343-square-foot cellar level. The project is located on a formerly vacant interior lot situated next to the Peninsula Hotel between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

Yonkers IDA Approves Incentives For Senior Housing Building at 322 Warburton Avenue in Warburton-Ravine

The Yonkers Industrial Development Agency has given its final approval for financial incentives to support the construction of Warburton Avenue Apartments, a six-story senior affordable housing building at 322 Warburton Avenue in Warburton-Ravine, Yonkers. Developed in collaboration by local non-profit the Center for Urban Rehabilitation and Empowerment Inc., Conifer Realty LLC, and the City of Yonkers, the $53.3 million project will yield 93 units affordable senior housing units. The property is located at the intersection of Warburton Avenue and Point Street.

Warren Street Hotel Wraps Up Construction At 86 Warren Street in Tribeca, Manhattan

Construction is complete on the Warren Street Hotel, an 11-story building that celebrated its grand opening yesterday at 86 Warren Street in Tribeca. Designed by Paul Taylor with Stonehill Taylor and developed by Firmdale on a land lease from Solil Management, the 135-foot-tall structure spans 44,000 square feet and yields 69 guest rooms operated by Firmdale Hotels, as well as the 150-seat Warren Bar and Restaurant, a drawing room, an orangery, and a private event space. Pavarini McGovern was the general contractor and Kit Kemp was the interior designer for the ground-up project, which stands on the former site of an open-air parking lot between Greenwich Street and West Broadway.
