Facade Installation Begins for 108 Chambers Street, Tribeca

Standing in the heart of Tribeca at the corner of Chambers Street and Church Street is 108 Chambers Street, a low-rise 10-story mixed-use residential building designed by Woods Bagot Architects and developed by Greystone Development. Now, the facade is beginning to be installed along Church Street, with waterproofing preceding glass panels. The concrete structure’s exterior will soon be faced in a mixture of glass and dark angled panels.

Leasing Begins at Quinn, 153-Unit Rental at 197 Van Vorst Street In Jersey City’s Paulus Hook

Located at 197 Van Vorst Street in Jersey City, at the southwest intersection of Morris Street and Van Vorst Street in the Paulus Hook neighborhood, a new 16-story residential mid-rise is under construction and just began leasing its 153 units. Field Development Group is behind the project, the same firm that successfully completed the Lenox, directly across the street to the north. Marchetto Higgins Stieve is the designer and Bozzuto is the property manager for the building, which has been dubbed “Quinn”.

Renderings Revealed for The New York Korea Center of NYC at 122-126 East 32nd Street, Murray Hill

Progress is finally advancing on the New York Korea Center, at 122-126 East 32nd Street. Located in the Midtown neighborhood of Murray Hill, on East 32nd Street between Lexington and Park, construction began on June 28th with a panel of dignitaries who attended the groundbreaking event.  The building will be designed by SAMOO Architecture PC, and is being developed by Young Park, of Level Group. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York purchased the site for $15.8 million back in March 2008, which included nearly 4,500 square feet of air rights from the neighboring four-story building.

One Blue Slip Opens For Leasing in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Landing

Located at 37 Blue Slip, with uninterrupted 180-degree views of the Midtown skyline and Lower Manhattan to the south, One Blue Slip is the first market-rate residential tower to go up in the 22-acre Greenpoint Landing, and leasing has now launched for the building’s 359 units. The news comes from Brookfield Properties, the developers of the project, alongside a joint venture with Park Tower Group, the master planner of the Greenpoint Landing development.
