With several more floors left to add, Jersey City’s 99 Hudson Street is almost at its final pinnacle 900 feet above street level. While the crown remains to be completed, it has now officially surpassed 30 Hudson Street, the 781-foot home of Goldman Sachs two blocks to the south, which has held the title of the tallest skyscraper in New Jersey since its completion in 2004.
Located at 81-9 134th Street in Briarwood, Queens, a new two-building residential project is being designed by Rawlings Architects PC and developed by The Musso Group. Citi Habitats is marketing the 104 units that will range in size from studios to one- and two-bedrooms, including some ground-floor duplexes that come with private entrances and outdoor space. The complex is divided into two buildings, with “The Noll” housing 54 units while “The Grove” will house the remaining 50 apartments.
Located in Downtown Brooklyn, sales have officially launched for 11 Hoyt Street, an upcoming 770,000 square foot residential tower designed by Studio Gang Architects, under the direction of Jeanne Gang. Tishman Speyer is the developer of the 57-story, ground-up residential structure, which will rise on a full block. Hill West is the architect of record, while Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is managing sales for the 480 units.
Located at 2351 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard in Central Harlem, the Rennie has officially launched sales of its 134 condominiums spread over eight stories. Developed by BRP Companies and designed by GF55 Partners, sales will be handled by Halstead Property Development Marketing. There will be studios to three-bedroom residences that start at $580,000, and range up to $1.89 million. The site is located where the Renaissance Ballroom and Casino once stood, with the first two floors of the new building becoming an ode to the rich cultural and architectural history of the original structure.
Located in the heart of Chelsea, and sitting adjacent to 520 West 28th Street designed by the late Zaha Hadid, the neighborhood’s newest art gallery has now opened beneath the High Line, and has been dubbed the “High Line Nine.” Developed by Related Companies, this highly anticipated project at 507 West 27th Street was inspired by European gallerias, and presents a new concept of mixing a museum, a gallery, an exhibition space, and a cafe within a continuous interior space created by Markus Dochantschi’s international design team at Studio MDA.
