Hoboken-based architect Marchetto Higgins Stieve recently revealed new renderings for 184 Morgan Street, aka 331 Marin Boulevard, in Jersey City. Construction should soon begin for the 41-story residential building, located at the intersection of Marin Boulevard and Morgan Street. The structure will yield 482 residential units and contain 121 parking spaces, a 125-seat theater, and 14,000 square feet of amenities. The Albanese Group is the developer of the property.

The Pendry Hotel at 4 Manhattan West Makes Vertical Headway in Midtown West

The Pendry Hotel at 4 Manhattan West is rising fast in Midtown West. The 21-story development will offer 164 guest rooms and a selection of condominiums on the tower’s upper floors. Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by Brookfield Properties, the building features a distinctive wavy façade on the northern and southern elevations, which is now visible in the reinforced concrete structure. The glass curtain wall will be installed later this year.

The NoMad Ritz Carlton Breaches Street Level At 1185 Broadway

The future NoMad site of the Ritz Carlton Hotel at 1185 Broadway is making progress. The first several high-ceiling floors for the podium have been created. Construction workers reached the fourth floor and the start of the main hotel portion of the reinforced concrete structure should soon follow. This is going to be a $500 million Midtown skyscraper, which is located at the northern intersection of Broadway and West 28th Street. It is designed by Rafael Vinoly, while MarriottRitz Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties are the three developers. The interiors are being designed by Yabu Pushelberg. The Ritz Carlton will top out at 40 stories tall and reach 580 feet above street level.

Recent photos show a dense network of rebar laid out for the ground-floor slab, and bundled vertically for the construction of reinforced columns. The 775-foot-tall residential tower is being designed by Snohetta and developed by Extell.
