Construction is rising on 124 East 86th Street, a 20-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Igor Zaslavskiy of Zproekt Architects and developed by Rybak Development under the 126 East 86th Street Development LLC, the 210-foot-tall structure will yield 76,414 square feet, with 32 condominium units spread across 62,370 square feet and 1,519 square feet of commercial space. Rybak is also serving as the general contractor for the property, which is located on a narrow rectangular plot between Lexington and Park Avenues.

Construction is complete on 456 Greenwich Street, an eight-story hotel building in Tribeca. Designed by Stephen B. Jacobs Group and developed by Caspi Development, the 94,000-square-foot structure yields 96 Art Deco-inspired guest rooms with interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. Groupe Lucien Barrière of the Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris is the operator of the property, which is bound by Greenwich Street to the east, Desbrosses Street to the south, and Washington Street to the west.

Construction has topped out on 1162 Broadway, a 13-story commercial building in NoMad. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by 1162 Broadway LLC, 185-foot-tall structure will yield Class A office within the Madison Square North Historic District. The project has undergone several changes since permits were first filed by Aini Assets for a 14-story, 52-room hotel in December 2013. The latest plans were approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) in the late spring of 2020, followed by groundbreaking in 2021. On Star Management is the general contractor for the property, which is located between West 27th and West 28th Streets.

One Wall Street’s New Retail Spaces Near Completion in Financial District, Manhattan

Work is nearing completion on One Wall Street, a 564-foot-tall Art Deco skyscraper in the Financial District. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Macklowe Properties, the $1.5 billion venture is the largest office-to-residential conversion in New York City history and will yield 566 condominiums as well as a 44,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market and a four-floor, 75,000-square-foot Life Time fitness center on the lower levels. The project also involved the construction of a multi-story expansion above the mid-century annex to the 91-year-old structure. Compass Development Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing with a gallery located within the famous Red Room. JT Magen is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by Broadway to the west, Wall Street to the north, Exchange Place to the south, and New Street to the east.
