SOM-Designed Park Loggia Now Fully Complete, at 15 West 61st Street On The Upper West Side

Construction is fully complete on The Park Loggia, a 416-foot-tall residential building at 15 West 61st Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Formerly addressed as 1865 Broadway, the 33-story reinforced concrete structure is designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by AvalonBay Communities. Occupancy began last fall at the property, which is located along Broadway between West 61st Street and West 62nd Street, not far from Columbus Circle.

Hillrose 28’s Façade Begins to Emerge at 157-161 East 28th Street in Kips Bay

The scaffolding and black netting that has shrouded Hillrose 28, aka 157-161 East 28th Street in the Manhattan neighborhood of Kips Bay, is coming down. The facade is finally being revealed, starting with the stepped upper floors and roof parapet. C3D Architecture is the project designer, Lemay + Escobar is the interior designer, and Forkosh Development is the developer of the topped-out, 191-foot-tall, 20-story property. Corcoran Sunshine is in charge of marketing and selling the 43 residential units, which comprises 66,125 square feet of space in the development.

Work Begins on 200 Amsterdam’s Crown, on the Upper West Side

Façade work has reached the crown of 200 Amsterdam Avenue, the Upper West Side’s tallest skyscraper. The 52-story, 283,000-square-foot project is being developed by SJP Properties and Mitsui Fudosan America and is designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects with CetraRuddy as the interior designer. Despite heated opposition from NIMBY civic organizations led by the Municipal Arts Society and a ruling by a Supreme State Court Judge that could lead to a reduction of 20 or more floors from the top half of the structure, construction is still continuing as planned.

Construction Wraps on Vandewater at 543 West 122nd Street in Morningside Heights

The exterior of Vandewater appears complete while work continues inside the 33-story residential tower at 543 West 122nd Street in Morningside Heights. The 385-foot-tall structure is designed by INC Architecture & Design and developed by Savanna, with SLCE Architects as the executive architect and Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc. as the landscape architect. Halstead Development Marketing is handling sales for the 183 condominiums.
