Designed by Perkins+Will and developed by Taconic Partners, Nuveen Real Estate, and LaSalle Investment Management, the project will be the largest life science development in NYC since the Alexandria Center at 430 East 29th Street, and will help meet the growing demand for occupancy-ready, pre-built lab space in the city. JB&B is leading engineering, JRM Construction is managing construction, and CBRE is handling leasing. Designed by COOKFOX and developed by Alchemy Properties, the project incorporates the restoration of the adjacent 1915 Palazzo-style building at the corner of West End Avenue and West 78th Street, and will yield 58 units with sales and marketing led by Alchemy Properties and Compass. Homes will be available in one- to six-bedroom spreads and a collection of penthouses, with prices ranging from $1,795,000 to nearly $10 million. Leeding Builders Group is the general contractor for 378 West End Avenue, which is located along West 78th Street between West End Avenue and Broadway.

Exterior work is closing in on completion on Charlotte Of The Upper West Side, a nine-story condominium building at 470 Columbus Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by The Roe Corporation, the structure is engineered to meet eco-friendly standards set by the German-based Passive House Institute, which is known to reduce energy consumption for heating and cooling by up to 90 percent. Alyssa Kapito Interiors and BKSK both designed the interiors and Hudson Meridian Construction Group is the general contractor for the project, which is located between West 82nd and 83rd Streets just north of the American Museum of Natural History.
