Façade installation is rapidly moving along at 140 West 24th Street, a topped-out, 416-foot-tall hotel tower in Chelsea. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect and developed by Sam Chang, the 45-story reinforced concrete structure will yield 142,949 square feet. Omnibuild is in charge of the construction process on the project, which is located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.
Sales have launched for 101 West 14th Street, a 13-story residential project from ODA’s New York design studio on the border of Chelsea and Greenwich Village. Developed by Gemini Rosemont, the structure will yield 44 condominium residences. Nestseekers International’s Serhant Team is leading the sales and marketing of the units, which start at $1.35 million for a one-bedroom home.
Construction has topped out on 28 & 7, a 12-story office building at 322-326 Seventh Avenue in Chelsea. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and developed in collaboration by Klövern AB of Sweden and GDSNY of New York, the building will yield 105,000 square feet of leasable area.
Construction is now several floors above street level at 601 West 29th Street, a 58-story residential skyscraper in West Chelsea on the border with Hudson Yards. Known as Tower A in a two-building development along with 606 West 30th Street, the 695-foot-tall building is designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Douglaston Development.
Construction is wrapping up on The No. 29 Condominium, a nine-story residential building at 534 West 29th Street along the border of Hudson Yards and Chelsea. Designed by Workshop/APD and developed by LENY, the 17,000-square-foot structure yields six units ranging from full-floor homes to duplexes. The property is located between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues, a short walk from the High Line.
