Curtain wall installation has begun on 200 East 20th Street, a 19-story residential building in Gramercy Park, Manhattan. Designed by CetraRuddy and developed by Glacier Global Partners, the 210-foot-tall structure will yield 82,800 square feet with 52 condominium units spread across 65,500 square feet and 2,730 square feet of retail space. CM & Associates Construction Management is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the southeast corner of East 20th Street and Third Avenue.

Excavation Continues at 182-186 Spring Street in Soho, Manhattan

Excavation is progressing at 182-186 Spring Street, the site of a seven-story residential building in Soho, Manhattan. Designed by Selldorf Architects and developed by Spring Street Owner LLC, the structure will span 25,000 square feet with nine condominium units, 2,700 square feet of commercial space for up to three tenants, and 1,400 square feet for community facilities. CM & Associates is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 83 Thompson Street and located in the Sullivan-Thompson Historic District at the corner of Spring and Thompson Streets.

1 Park Point’s Façade Takes Shape in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn

Construction is quickly taking shape on 1 Park Point, a 13-story residential building in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by JEMB Realty, the 145-foot-tall structure will span 395,726 square feet and yield 375 rental units with an average scope of 798 square feet, as well as 5,388 square feet of retail space, 18,850 square feet for community space, a cellar level, and 106 enclosed parking spaces. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the property, which was formerly addressed as 11 Ocean Parkway, is located on Machate Circle at the southwestern corner of Prospect Park, and bound by Ocean Parkway, Coney Island Avenue, and Caton Place.

Construction is progressing on 57 Caton Place, a nine-story residential building in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect and developed by an Aview Equities affiliate, the 95-foot-tall structure will span 130,569 square feet and yield 131 apartments with 14 studios, 55 one-bedrooms, 57 two-bedrooms, and five three-bedroom units, as well as 12,990 square feet of retail space and 74 below-grade parking spaces. Jun’s Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 23 Ocean Parkway and bound by Ocean Parkway to the north and Caton Place to the south.

The Frick Collection’s Expansion Continues to Take Shape at 1 East 70th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Work is progressing on the renovation and expansion of The Frick Collection, an 88-year-old art museum at 1 East 70th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Annabelle Selldorf of Selldorf Architects with Beyer Blinder Belle as the architect of record, the $160 million project involves the construction of a seven-story extension that will increase the historic institution’s footprint by 18,000 square feet to 197,000 square feet, as well as the renovation of the existing structure that will improve its infrastructure and accessibility. Sciame Construction is the general contractor for the undertaking, which broke ground in May 2021 after gaining approval from the Landmarks Preservation Commission. The Frick Collection is bound by East 71st Street to the north, East 70th Street to the south, and Fifth Avenue and Central Park to the west.

Anagram’s Façade Nears Completion at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Exterior work continues to progress on Anagram, a 25-story residential tower at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by INC Architecture & Design with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Global Holdings Management Group, the 281-foot-tall structure will span 180,813 square feet and yield 123 market-rate and affordable housing units with interiors by The Setting, as well as 20,000 square feet of retail space on the first two levels. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor and DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the façade consultant for the property, which is alternatively addressed as 1841 Broadway and located at the corner of Broadway and West 60th Street, just north of Columbus Circle and the southwest corner of Central Park.

The Parluxe Finishes Construction at 71-82 Parsons Boulevard in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens

Construction is complete on The Parluxe, an eight-story mixed-use building at 71-82 Parsons Boulevard in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens. Designed by ARC Architecture and developed by A&R Properties Group, the all-electric structure spans 100,000 square feet and yields 94 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts with interiors by Durukan Design, as well as 8,000 square feet of community facility space and 45 enclosed parking spaces. REAL New York is handling marketing and leasing for the property, which is bound by Parsons Boulevard to the east, Aguilar Avenue to the west, and 72nd Avenue to the south.

Demolition Finishes at 183 Chrystie Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side

Demolition is wrapping up at 183 Chrystie Street, the site of a 17-story residential building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Designed by GF55 Partners and developed by Omnia Group and Naveh Shuster, the 175-foot-tall structure will span 75,000 square feet and yield 57 units and ground-floor retail space. Alba Services is the demolition contractor for the property, which is located between Stanton and Rivington Streets, directly across from Sara D. Roosevelt Park.

Construction Rises at 98-14 66th Avenue in Rego Park, Queens

Construction is moving along on 98-14 66th Avenue, a seven-story mixed-use building in Rego Park, Queens. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by RJ Capital Holdings, the 85-foot-tall structure will span 82,425 square feet and yield 62 units with an average span of 1,075 square feet, as well as 15,741 square feet of commercial space. KSK Construction Group is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by 99th Street to the northeast, 66th Avenue to the northwest, and Queens Boulevard to the southwest.

85 DeKalb Avenue Awaits Construction in Fort Greene, Brooklyn

Demolition of a multi-story parking garage has wrapped up at 85 DeKalb Avenue, the site of a planned 29-story residential building in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Designed by Perkins Eastman and developed by Long Island University and RXR Realty under the RXR LIU Developer TRS LLC, the 348-foot-tall structure will span 288,849 square feet and yield 275 rental units with an average scope of 883 square feet, as well as 45,981 square feet of community facility space, a cellar level, a 30-foot long rear yard, two loading berths, and 198 enclosed parking spaces. Capital Industries Corp. is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the intersection of DeKalb Avenue and Rockwell Place.
