Construction is finishing up on The Rolex Building, a 30-story commercial tower at 665 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by David Chipperfield Architects and developed by the Rolex Realty Company, the 469-foot-tall structure will yield 165,000 square feet of office and retail space for the Swiss luxury watchmaker. Adamson Associates is the architect of record for the project, which is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 53rd Street.

Construction is finished on 16 Fifth Avenue, a 19-story residential building in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects and developed in a joint venture between Madison Realty Capital and City Urban Realty, the 241-foot-tall structure yields 14 condominium units. Hill West Architects was the architect of record for the property, which is located on an interior lot between East 8th and 9th Streets, just north of Washington Square Park.

Construction is complete on The Village West, a 13-story residential building at 525 Sixth Avenue in Manhattan’s West Village. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Izaki Group, the 145-foot-tall structure spans 123,000 square feet and yields 68 condominium units, as well as two ground-floor retail storefronts. The property is alternately addressed as 100–106 West 14th Street and located at the corner of West 14th Street and Sixth Avenue, just below the border with Chelsea.

555 New Brunswick Avenue Nears Completion in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey

Construction is nearing completion on The Park at Fords Corner, a six-story residential building at 555 New Brunswick Avenue in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. Designed by Thriven Design and developed by Green Pathway Urban Renewal LLC, the structure will yield 113 apartments, with 15 percent dedicated to affordable housing. The project will also include a ground-floor cafe. The 62,656-square-foot property is located at the corner of New Brunswick Avenue and Raymond Street, directly west of Green Oak Senior Housing, the first phase of the redevelopment.

YIMBY has an exclusive new rendering of 175 East 82nd Street, a 39-story residential tower under construction in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and developed by Douglaston Development, the 478-foot-tall structure will span 287,632 square feet and yield 73 condominium units in one- to six-bedroom layouts, including three duplex penthouses. The building will also contain approximately 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The property is alternately addressed as 1448 Third Avenue and located at the corner of Third Avenue and East 82nd Street.

Plans Revealed For 69-67 108th Street in Forest Hills, Queens

Last Monday, the City Planning Commission reviewed plans for 69-67 108th Street, a proposed 12-story residential building in Forest Hills, Queens. Developed under the 69-68 108 St. LLC, the 115-foot-tall structure will span around 55,700 square feet and yield 59 units with an average unit scope of 882 square feet. Approximately 15 of the apartments are slated to be designated as affordable housing. The project will also include 3,902 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The 9,380-square-foot property is located at the corner of 108th Street and 70th Avenue.

Renderings Revealed for Elodie At 439 East 77th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Renderings have been revealed for Elodie, a seven-story residential building under construction at 439 East 77th Street in the Lenox Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by ARC Architecture + Design Studio and developed in a joint venture between Salomon Cojab of Visabe Corp. and Jack Ezra Cattan of Urban Spring Capital called Grand Cru Real Estate, the 74-foot-tall structure will span 33,190 square feet and yield 16 condominium units with an average scope of 1,807 square feet. The project will also include a cellar level, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and two enclosed parking spaces. PKSB is serving as the design architect and ARC is the architect of record for the property, which is situated on a 70-foot wide interior lot between First and York Avenues.

The Jersey City Planning Board has approved plans for 792 Communipaw Avenue, a five-story residential building in the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood of Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Studio A+M Architects and developed by Academy Capital, the 32,583-square-foot structure will yield 38 apartments, with four dedicated to affordable housing. The project will also include more than 2,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, with nearly 74 feet of frontage facing Communipaw Avenue. The 7,300-square-foot property is located by the corner of West Side Avenue.

New renderings have been revealed for 56 Park Place, a proposed 27-story residential building in Newark, New Jersey. Designed by MVMK Architecture and developed by the 56 Park Place LLC, the structure is planned to stand 285 feet tall. In addition to residential space, the project is planned to contain a ground-floor restaurant, a parking garage, and amenities on the third story and roof level. The property comprises two narrow interior lots between East Park Street and Center Street.

Developers Land Financing for ‘The 360’ at 350 Grand Concourse in Mott Haven, The Bronx

Developers have secured $130 million in construction financing for The 360, a planned 13-story residential building at 350 Grand Concourse in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Designed by S9 Architecture and developed in a joint venture between Shorewood Real Estate Group and Bogopa Enterprises, the 320,000-square-foot structure will yield 304 rental units. The project will also contain community facility space and 47,892 square feet of ground-floor retail that is pre-leased to Food Bazaar. Seventy-six of the residential units will be dedicated to affordable housing for households earning up to 60 percent of the area median income. The property is located between East 140th and 144th Streets.
