Palette Architecture designed the seven-story structure at 2861 Creston Avenue and David Cunningham Architecture is responsible for 2997 Marion Avenue, and both are developed by John V. Waters of NFW Group. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 25 units for residents at 30 to 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $18,515 to $122,000.

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 317 Franklin Avenue, a five-story residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by Amr Ouda of Jay Architect & Engineering and developed by Waterfront Property Management, the structure yields ten residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $104,880 to $198,250.

NYCHA to Demolish and Rebuild Two Affordable Housing Complexes in Chelsea, Manhattan

NYCHA has announced a $1.5 billion plan to demolish and rebuild the Fulton and Elliott-Chelsea Houses in Chelsea. To complete the project, NYCHA has partnered with Essence Development and Related Companies, who will also work closely with residents and tenant associations to help ensure alignment among all community members.

BLDG Management Company has secured a $425 million loan to complete a 69-story residential skyscraper in Long Island City, Queens. The development, known as The Orchard, will take shape at 42-02 Orchard Street and debut as the tallest residential building in the neighborhood.

Designed by Dattner Architects and developed by Phipps Houses, the three-structure complex will yield 1,200 residences when complete. Rendering Revealed for The Abbey Affordable Housing Project at 21-23 Park Avenue in Yonkers

The Yonkers Panning Board is now considering proposals from Kearney Realty & Development Group to construct a new affordable housing project at 21-23 Park Avenue in Yonkers. The project is known as The Abbey and includes the construction of a new apartment building and a renovation of the Ethan Flagg House and Blessed Sacrament Monastery. Both properties are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Marcus Garvey Village Housing Complex Breaks Ground at 212 West 124th Street in Harlem, Manhattan

Construction teams have broken ground at 212 West 124th Street, the site of a new affordable housing tower within the Marcus Garvey Village complex in Central Harlem. From developer Carthage Real Estate Advisors and Body Lawson Associates Architects and Planners, the new building is expected to debut next winter.
