New York City Mayor Eric Adams has announced a multi-phase initiative to create up to 4,000 new apartments in Central Brooklyn. Known as the Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan, projections also anticipate the creation of more than 1,500 income-restricted homes centered on a 13-block stretch of Atlantic Avenue.

Available on NYC Housing Connect are 48 units for residents at 40 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $26,092 to $198,250. For units where the income limit is set at 40, 60, and 80 percent of the AMI, units are designated for individuals or households that have at least one household member who is 62 years of age or older.
