The affordable housing lottery has launched for 3436 Kingsbridge Avenue, a six-story mixed-use residential building in Kingsbridge, The Bronx. Designed by Gerald J. Caliendo Architect and developed by Benjamin Shavolian, the structure yields 39 residences and 4,816 square feet of community facility space. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 12 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $73,715 to $187,330.

American Lions, a joint venture between Fetner Properties and the NY Lions Group, has secured $350 million in construction financing to complete a 49-story residential skyscraper at 26-32 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by SLCE Architects, the project will comprise 283,000 square feet of residential space and 10,000 square feet of retail space.

New York City Football Club Reveals Renderings of 25,000-Seat Willets Point Soccer Stadium in Corona, Queens

In a meeting with Willets Point Queens Community Board 7, the New York City Football Club presented its plans to construct a 25,000-seat soccer stadium near Citi Field in Corona, Queens. Known as the Willets Point Revitalization Plan, the scope of work also includes a 100-percent affordable housing project with more than 2,500 units, a 650-seat school, a 250-key hotel, retail and dining locations, and more than 40,000 square feet of public open space.

Designed by Latent Productions and developed by Habitat for Humanity, the structure yield a total 17 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for sale for residents at 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $48,000 to $115,280.

Governor Hochul Announces Construction of 698-Unit Development at 405-407 West 206th Street in Inwood, Manhattan

This week Governor Kathy Hochul announced the start of construction on a $416 million residential development in Inwood, Manhattan. The two-building, mixed-income project at 405 and 407 West 206th Street will bring nearly 700 apartments with 281 affordable units with free broadband internet, all-electric heating and cooling, and other sustainable features in line with the state’s climate goals. The development is a joint venture among LMXD affiliate of L+M Development Partners, MSquared, and Taconic Partners with the Community League of the Heights as the community sponsor, and Beyer Blinder Belle Architects responsible for design.
