Renderings Revealed for 40-Story Tower at 570 Fulton Street, Downtown Brooklyn

Two weeks ago, YIMBY reported on plans to build a 40-story mixed-use tower on the wedge-shaped 570 Fulton Street lot in Downtown Brooklyn. Renderings have now surfaced of the proposal, and though they are low in quality, they still reveal quite a lot about the project. The proposition would be a good step forward for Brooklyn’s densification, and the new office space will help ameliorate the Borough’s residential imbalance.

A new 40-story, mixed-use building could sprout from a wedge-shaped lot in Downtown, Brooklyn, pending approval from the NYC Department of City Planning. Zoning amendments would be required for construction to begin.

Today, YIMBY has the exclusive first look at renderings of 1 Flatbush Avenue’s interiors and exteriors. The structure, triangularly shaped at the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Fulton Street, will be adding new rental apartments to Downtown Brooklyn, 20% of which will let at affordable rates. Slate Property Group and Meadow Partners are responsible for the development.

Architect David Adjaye Talks 130 William Street as Work Pushes Above Ground, Financial District

Concrete is finally starting to rise for the soon-to-be 800-foot tall residential tower at 130 William Street in the Financial District. The building has surpassed the significant brunt of foundational work, and is now beginning to progress above ground level. Sir David Adjaye of Adjaye Associates is responsible for the design.

One Seaport Nears Topping Out in The Financial District

One of the best comforts of living in the Financial District is its proximity to New York’s Harbor and rivers. For the residential tower rising at One Seaport, unencumbered views are guaranteed for as long as the adjacent highway remains. Today’s update from Tectonic shows the building has a third of its height left until it reaches its 60-floor pinnacle.

Verticality has commenced at 123 Linden Boulevard, a 20-story residential building rising in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Borough Park-based Solomon Feder is listed as responsible for the project on applications, however, The Moinian Group is the chief developer.

Permits have been filed by the Moinian Group for a major new 37-story mixed-use tower to rise at 3 Platt Street, in the Financial District of Manhattan. The building will also have the address of 110 John Street. The site is five blocks away from the Fulton Street subway station entrance, serviced by the A, C, J, Z, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains.
