RYBAK Development has successfully secured a $71 million construction loan for The Austin, a new condominium project located at 78-29 Austin Street in Forest Hills, Queens. JLL Capital Markets facilitated the financing for the project from Valley National Bank.
A new mixed-use project is currently under construction at 237 McGuinness Boulevard in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The development, which began construction in October, is progressing rapidly, with excavation of the site nearing completion.
Hudson Square Properties has announced a lease renewal and expansion with David Yurman at 200 Hudson Street in Tribeca, Manhattan. The new lease expands David Yurman’s headquarters by over 25 percent, bringing its total footprint to 150,000 square feet. SCALE Lending, the debt financing arm of Slate Property Group, has finalized a $160 million construction loan to The Namdar Group for a new mixed-use development located 626 Newark Avenue in Jersey City. The loan was arranged by Drew Fletcher and Bryan Grover of Greystone Capital Advisors.
Civic Builders, a national nonprofit lender and developer dedicated to supporting public charter schools in under-resourced communities, is currently developing a new charter school located at 447 Wales Avenue in Mott Haven, The Bronx. The project, a partnership with Comp Sci High Charter School, and designed by KSS Architects, represents an important investment in educational facilities in the area.
