Industry City, an innovation campus that spans approximately 35 acres in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, has announced the signing of three new industrial leases spanning 33,496 square feet. Industry City currently is home to more than 8,500 workers across more than 550 businesses, ranging from small startups and solo entrepreneurs to large enterprises.
The Yonkers Industrial Development Agency has given its final approval for financial incentives to support the construction of Warburton Avenue Apartments, a six-story senior affordable housing building at 322 Warburton Avenue in Warburton-Ravine, Yonkers. Developed in collaboration by local non-profit the Center for Urban Rehabilitation and Empowerment Inc., Conifer Realty LLC, and the City of Yonkers, the $53.3 million project will yield 93 units affordable senior housing units. The property is located at the intersection of Warburton Avenue and Point Street.
Construction has topped out on Allora, a ten-story residential building at 281-289 Broadway in Bayonne, New Jersey. Designed by Yossi Melamed of Melamed Architect and developed by Lior Darel of Bayonne Equities BII Urban Renewal, the 145-foot-tall structure will yield 128 units, 2,420 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and 135 enclosed parking spaces.
The Yonkers Industrial Development Agency has granted final approval for financial incentives to support the construction of Miroza Tower, a 27-story residential building at 44 Hudson Street in downtown Yonkers. The decision was made on January 23 at the agency’s monthly meeting, marking an important step forward for the $133.5 million project.
The Landmarks Preservation Commission is reviewing proposals for modifications to Saint Saviour Catholic Academy, a school serving pre-kindergarten through eighth grade at 701 8th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Designed by Matiz Architecture & Design, the project seeks to construct a rooftop play area surrounded by protective fences and egress walkways along the perimeter.
