Located near the corner of Jamaica Avenue and 218th Street, the new hotel is one block west of the Queens Village station on the LIRR, serviced by the Hempstead and Oyster Bay lines. Hotel developer Amritpal Sandhu is listed as the owner behind the applications. He previously filed permits for an eight-story hotel at this location in 2016.

New Rendering Released for 637 East 176 Street in Tremont, Bronx

10 days ago, YIMBY featured applications for 637 East 176th Street in Tremont, Bronx. Today, we have the first look at the design for the project, by Badaly Architects. The eight-story residential building will have a multi-tone brick facade atop of a concrete block base for the first floor. Situated between Arthur Avenue and Belmont Avenue, the site is a merger of two lots on the interior of the block.

770,000-Square Foot Grand Logistics Center Coming 56-19 Grand Avenue in Maspeth, Queens

LBA Logistics and RXR Realty have big plans for a 770,000-square foot, multistory logistics center in Maspeth, Queens. A 71,000-square-foot single-story warehouse with 6.5 acres of fleet parking and storage is currently extant at 56-19 Grand Avenue. The new structure will feature 21-foot ceiling heights and nine interior dock positions, and can accommodate a variety of vehicles and equipment. It is already available for lease, with occupancy starting in the second quarter of 2019.

Permits Filed for 144-60 37th Avenue in Flushing, Queens

New construction permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 144-60 37th Avenue, in Flushing, Queens. Located between Parsons Boulevard and 147th Street, the interior development site is one block south of Northern Boulevard. The Murray Hill LIRR train station is half a mile east and five blocks west is the Main Street – Flushing subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Queens-based Wantai Management Group is listed as the owner behind the applications. This appears to be the first residential project for the developer.

The vision for the new mixed-use project by Ginsburg Development Companies includes renovation of Class A office space at 50 Main Street, an addition of 19,540 square feet of restaurant and retail space along Main Street and Martine Avenue, and converting the office building at 1 Martine Avenue into 188 rental units.
