Renderings Revealed for Mixed-Use Development at 700 East 241st Street in Wakefield, The Bronx

Developers recently approached New York City’s Department of City Planning for zoning approvals to permit the construction of a new 9-story, mixed-use building in The Bronx, and today, YIMBY has the first renderings for the project. The site would include a combination of affordable and market-rate housing, ground floor retail, office space, community facilities, and expanded parking accommodations for both public and residential use.

NYC Ferry Routes Expand Service Across Manhattan and The Bronx

The NYC Ferry system has announced two expanded routes which will now include the Lower East Side, Manhattan, and The Bronx. The expanded service arrives as a joint initiative with The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and Hornblower, a private cruise and charter company that operates NYC’s ferry network.
