FXCollaborative Revises Proposals for 130 Saint Felix Tower in Fort Greene, Brooklyn

FXCollaborative has updated design proposals for a new residential tower and partial expansion of the historic Brooklyn Music School in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Located at 130 Saint Felix Street, the most notable changes in the architect’s proposals include a new structural height of 265 feet, down from 285 feet, and a series of setback terrace levels toward the top of the building. The proposal was approved at a Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) meeting on August 4th.

One Willoughby Square’s Masonry Façade Reaches Roof Parapet in Downtown Brooklyn

Exterior work has been progressing rapidly at One Willoughby Square, a 495-foot-tall office skyscraper in Downtown Brooklyn. Alternately addressed as 420 Albee Square, the façade paneling has reached the parapet of the 34-story office skyscraper, which is designed by FXCollaborative and developed by JEMB Realty. The project will debut as the tallest new office building in Brooklyn and will yield 500,000 square feet of Class A office space. Gilbane Building Company is in charge of the ongoing construction.

185 Broadway Steadily Climbing Above Financial District

185 Broadway has been vertically progressing over the lower stretch of Broadway and the surrounding Financial District neighborhood. The 31-story mixed-use superstructure is designed by FXCollaborative and developed by SL Green, and is slated to open as a 404-foot tall, 260,000-square-foot development. The site is located next to the western entrance to the Fulton Street station and is one street away from the World Trade Center.

Near-Supertall 3 Hudson Boulevard Reaches Street Level in Hudson Yards

Construction has reached street level on Three Hudson Boulevard, a planned $3 billion office skyscraper designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Boston Properties and The Moinian Group. The Hudson Yards development will rise around 940 feet and yield 1.86 million square feet, featuring column-free floor plates, private outdoor terraces for select suites, and wide views of the Manhattan skyline and Hudson River.
