7 Dey Street Nears Completion in Financial District, Manhattan

Construction is nearing completion on 7 Dey Street, a 34-story mixed-use tower in the Financial District. Formerly known as 185 Broadway, the 404-foot-tall structure is designed by FXCollaborative and developed by SL Green Realty and will yield 260,000 square feet and 209 rental units ranging from studios to three-bedroom layouts. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is handling marketing and sales, and INC Architecture & Design is in charge of the interiors, which will come with three floors of amenities. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the project, located at the corner of Broadway and Dey Street. The development was made possible thanks to un-utilized air rights SL Green purchased from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).

Permits have been filed for 495 Eleventh Avenue, a pair of mixed-use residential skyscrapers atop of a five-story podium in Midtown West, Manhattan. Located between West 39th and 40th Streets, the two towers will stand 680 feet tall and 57 stories, and 653 feet tall and 56 stories. NYC Economic Development Corporation is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The affordable housing lottery has launched for Apex Place Apartments at 62-11 108th Street and 108-75 62nd Drive, Buildings A and C of a three-building residential project in Forest Hills, Queens. Developed by Phipps Houses, the complex includes one 17-story building and two 13-story buildings yielding 430 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 267 units for residents at 50 to 140 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $27,498 to $207,200.
