Anbau Enterprises has spent the last two years securing Landmarks approval and a rezoning for a planned cantilevering condo building at 39 West 23rd Street. Now the developer has finally filed plans for the 25-story, mixed-use project between 5th and 6th avenues in the Flatiron District.
It was over two-and-a-half years ago that YIMBY told you of plans to convert a five-story warehouse at 510 West 22nd Street into an 10-story office building. Since then, the plan has changed to 11 stories and now, thanks to images on the architect’s website, we have a new look at what how the completed structure will appear.
Pacific Park’s first affordable rental building has topped out at 535 Carlton Avenue, according to PR reps for the project. Construction began just over a year ago, and now all 19 stories of concrete have risen at the corner of Pacific Street and Carlton Avenue.
Very early this year, YIMBY brought you renderings of Jeff Greene’s planned 24-story, 62-unit residential development at 100 Vandam Street, in Hudson Square, and now the developer has filed applications for the COOKFOX-designed project. The existing six-story, 55,300 square-foot former factory building will be expanded to 156,629 square feet via a 19-story vertical extension. Of the total square-footage, 2,311 square feet of space will be designated for ground-floor retail. Condos will average a spacious 2,457 square feet each, and a duplex penthouse unit will span the 23rd and 24th floors, according to the Schedule A. The Real Deal was the first to report on the filings.
The West End Collegiate Church will get the money it needs from a project approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission on Tuesday. The church, an individual landmark located at 245 West 77th Street, has bought the property to its north from the Collegiate School, at 260 West 78th Street, where an existing structure will be demolished. It will be replaced by a new residential building that will be connected internally to a restored and expanded 378 West End Avenue.
