Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 750 East 35th Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of East 35th Street and Farragut Road, the lot is also addressed as 3423 Farragut Road. The Newkirk Av-Little Haiti subway station is the nearest transit station, served by the 2 and 5 trains. Herman Kaufman of Kay Builders Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 12,030 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 18 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 668 square feet. The steel-based structure will not have any accessory parking.
Amr Ouda of Jay Architect & Engineering DPC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for the single-story residential structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
