Permits have been filed to expand a three-story structure into a four-story residential building at 341 Herkimer Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Kingston Avenue and Brooklyn Avenue, the interior lot is steps from the Kingston-Throop Avenues subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Joseph Aghelian is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 4,765 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 595 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 35-foot-long rear yard

Thomas C. Tung, P.E. is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
