Construction has topped out on 345 Baldwin Avenue, a 13-story residential building in the Journal Square neighborhood of Jersey City. Designed by Frank J Quatela Architects and developed by Titanium Realty Group, the structure will yield 116 units as well as ground-floor retail space and a parking garage. KBE-NY is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the intersection of Washburn Street and Baldwin Avenue.

Recent photos show the reinforced concrete superstructure completed with its inner wall assembly of metal stud frames with gypsum boards approaching the parapet.

The structure is located just to the east of 32 Oakland Avenue, a mammoth mixed-use residential project. Both buildings are among the multitude of new residential developments that are rapidly transforming the neighborhood with market-rate and affordable housing, as well as retail and office space.

The renderings show the structure clad in a sleek modern envelope of floor-to-ceiling windows and a light-colored metal paneling system. The eastern elevation features two glass corners that will provide optimal daylight exposure and views over the Journal Square area and toward Manhattan.

Amenities include a landscaped and furnished outdoor rooftop terrace, a fitness studio with a yoga and spin room, a lounge, a conference room, and bike storage.

345 Baldwin Avenue is projected to be finished this November, as noted on the construction board.
