‘Resurgence’ Art Exhibit Opens at the World Trade Center’s Oculus in Financial District, Manhattan

A new art exhibit opened to the public yesterday at the World Trade Center Oculus in Manhattan’s Financial District. Titled Resurgence, the collection is curated by Clayton Calvert, a painter, sculptor, and installation artist. The exhibit features 28 established and emerging artists, including World Trade Center resident artists, with work that speaks to the resiliency and resurgence of New York City.

LPC to Review Proposals to Reconstruct Pedestrian Pathways in Brooklyn’s Historic Fort Greene Park

This week, the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) will review proposals to construct new pathways and modify pedestrian circulation within Brooklyn’s historic Fort Greene Park. The goal of the project is to create an improved pedestrian connection to the park’s Prison Ship Martyrs’ Monument, improve ADA accessibility within the park, repair damaged asphalt paths, and mitigate anticipated erosion of existing pathways.
