Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 210 Beach 28th Street in Far Rockaway, Queens. Located between Seagirt Boulevard and Seagirt Avenue, the lot is near Beach 36th Street subway station, served by the A train. Zev Mayer of Walton Developers is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 35,243 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 73 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 482 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 48-foot-long rear yard.
Kao Hwa lee Architects PC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
