Exterior work is progressing on 477 Sackett Street, a four-story residential building in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Designed by Atelier New York Architecture for Sackett Gardens LLC, the project involves the expansion of an existing three-story home and will yield two units and a cellar level. The property is located at the corner of Sackett and Bond Streets.
The expansion stands topped out and covered in an assembly of scaffolding and blue netting as crews work to install the white brick façade over the waterproof membrane.
The below elevation diagrams from the info board depict the northern and southern sides of the structure. Finalized renderings for the project were not found.
The following Google Street View image shows the former condition of the building before the start of work.
The nearest subways from the property are the F and G trains at the Carroll Street station to the southwest along Smith Street.
477 Sackett Street’s anticipated completion date is slated for summer 2027, as noted on site.
