The affordable housing lottery has launched for The Clinton, a seven-story residential building at 520 West 48th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Developed by Hudson Inc., the structure yields 109 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $89,143 to $146,900.

Amenities include pet-friendly policies, bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, gym, and 24-hour concierge. Apartments come with granite marble countertops, hardwood floors, and full appliance packages with microwave and dishwasher. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are six studios with a monthly rent of $2,600 for incomes ranging from $89,143 to $146,900.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than January 5, 2023.

  1. The previous coverage said this is designed by Fred Geremia. As mediocre as Geremia usually is it’s not terrible. No way Badaly could produce something this passable.

  2. This is way too expensive for that area. 2950 for a studio is going market rate in nyc .. the rent should be half as high .

  3. The craftsmanship seems impeccable LOL.

  5. This is not affordable housing when your net income needs to be $89,143 to $146,900 this means to qualify you need a gross of around $150,000. for a 2600 studio, that’s insane.
