Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 1811 Nostrand Avenue in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Clarendon Road and Avenue D, the lot is two blocks north of the Newkirk Avenue-Little Haiti subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Yoel Kahan of HSK Management Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 8,401 square feet, with 5,992 square feet designated for residential space, 2,163 square feet for commercial space, and 245 square feet for community facility space. The building will have nine residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,004 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 35-foot-long rear yard.

Baobab Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. This is more like Flatbush than East Flatbush. Also, since it’s from Badaly it will likely look terrible.
