Construction is progressing on 193 Greenpoint Avenue, a five-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Naresh Mahangu of NY Building Associates and developed by Brooklyn Builders Inc., the 53-foot-tall structure will yield four residential units spread across 6,503 square feet as well as 603 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The building will also have a cellar level. JBS Works is the general contractor for the property, which is located near the corner of Greenpoint Avenue and McGuinness Boulevard.

Recent photos of 193 Greenpoint Avenue show the structure topped out and brick façade installation progressing behind black netting and scaffolding on the main southern elevation. Interior work should be underway as well.

The rendering posted on the construction board shows the building clad in dark-colored brick with a section of white paneling on the eastern end behind a stack of small balconies. Fire escapes line the western portion of the structure, with a ladder leading up to the roof parapet.

The property is a short walk from the G train at the Greenpoint Avenue station to the west along Manhattan Avenue. Nearby are local markets, restaurants, and retail options. McGuinness Boulevard also provides easy access northward over the Pulaski Bridge to Queens and the nearby roadways for the Queens-Midtown Tunnel leading to Midtown, Manhattan.

A completion date for 193 Greenpoint Avenue is slated for May 2023.
