Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 1259 St. Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights, Manhattan. Located at the intersection of West 173rd Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, the corner lot is a short walk to the 175th Street subway station, serviced by the C train. Nancy Lin is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 69-foot-tall development will yield 11,718 square feet, with 9,754 square feet designated for residential space, 1,576 square feet for commercial space, and 388 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 14 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 696 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.
A&T Engineering is listed as the engineer of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
