Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 560 Bay Street in Stapleton Heights, Staten Island. Located between Prospect Street and Union Place, the site is one block from the Stapleton station for the Staten Island subway. Jinsong Yang of McKinley Homes is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 85-foot-tall development will yield 150,482 square feet, with 148,487 square feet designated for residential space and 1,995 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 201 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 738 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 245 enclosed parking spaces.

Raymond Chan Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  2. Nycfan it sure appears that way. Not like anything that’s happened there in the past 3 decades helped keep it a theatre.
