Permits have been filed for a 15-story mixed-use building at 888 Fountain Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Seaview Avenue and Fountain Avenue, the corner lot is closest to the New Lots Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2, 3, and 4 trains. David Dishy of L+M Development Partners under the VBK C1 OWNER LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 161-foot-tall development will yield 386,362 square feet, with 353,140 square feet designated for residential space, 25,173 square feet for community facility space, and 8,049 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 437 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 808 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have 45 enclosed parking spaces.

Daniel Heuberger of Dattner Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

    • Actually, that’s the right image. It’s an empty lot next to the creek, with the Belt Parkway running right next to it. I’m sure it will be quite pleasant to live there.

    • If you need public assistance to rent in NYC, maybe you’re not in the financial position to move to NYC??? Just saying.
