The affordable housing lottery has launched for 735 Fenimore Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The four-story residential building is designed by Gerald Caliendo Architect and yields 4,400 square feet. Available on NYC Housing Connect are two units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $60,000 to $167,570.
Units will have name brand countertops and finishes, dishwashers, smart controls for heating and cooling, and hardwood floors. Residents will also have access to a rooftop terrace.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one one-bedroom with a $1,750 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $60,000 to $139,620, and one two-bedroom with a $2,250 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $77,143 to $167,570.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than July 9, 2021.
