The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1646 Amsterdam Avenue, a five-story mixed-use building in Harlem, Manhattan. Built in 1920, the 8,520-square-foot development yields eight residential units and one commercial tenant. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 120 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $82,800 to $177,600.

Located between West 141st and West 142nd Street, the walk-up building lists intercoms as a residential amenity.

At 120 percent of the AMI, there is one two-bedroom with a $2,322 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $82,800 to $154,680, and three three-bedrooms with a $2,676 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $95,692 to $177,600.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 1, 2021.
