Permits have been filed for a 15-story mixed-use building at 5119 Beach Channel Drive in Far Rockaway, Queens. Located at the intersection of Beach 53rd Street and Beach Channel Drive, the interior lot is closest to the Beach 60th Street subway station, serviced by the A train. The Arker Companies under the Peninsula Rockaway LP is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 160-foot-tall development will yield 231,716 square feet, with 195,000 square feet designated for residential space, 18,868 square feet allocated for commercial space, and 6,610 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 257 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 758 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have 41 enclosed parking spaces.

Ariel Aufgang of Aufgang Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
