Permits have been filed for an eight-story apartment building at 765 East 214th Street in Williamsbridge, The Bronx. Located between Holland Avenue and Barnes Avenue, the interior lot is about five city blocks south of the 219th Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Aleksander Lakaj under the 765 East 214 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 27,249 square feet, with 22,413 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 33 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 679 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a 47-foot-long rear yard.

Fred Geremia Architects & Planners is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in January of this year for the three-story building currently on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
