The structure features a façade composed of white, gray, and beige metal paneling and charcoal-hued brick surrounding a grid of windows with black frames. The massing features setbacks at the eighth and tenth stories before culminating in a flat roof topped with a photovoltaic canopy. The main entrance is located on the wider southeastern elevation facing Crotona Avenue.
Residences come equipped with intercoms, air conditioning, smart controls for heating and cooling, energy-efficient appliances, name-brand kitchen countertops and finishes, and patios or balconies. Ninety-two of the units are for seniors of 62-plus years in age at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $0 to $87,480.
Residential amenities include a shared laundry room, common area Wi-Fi, a fitness center, a spa, a yoga and dance studio, a community center, a media room, a party room, a recreation room, an outdoor terrace, a recycling center, package lockers, a virtual doorman, and community events and classes.
The nearest subways from 1883 Crotona Avenue are the 2 and 5 trains at the elevated 174th Street station to the southeast, and the B and D trains at the 174–175th Streets station to the west.
