As plans to renovate and expand the ACME Smoked Fish Factory and warehouse enter final stages of the city’s Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP), developers and local advocates are banding together to rally the New York City Council’s support and approval of the project.
A new 153,000-square-foot e-commerce distribution center will soon take shape in Hawthorne, a sparsely populated village within Mount Pleasant, Westchester County. The project is located at 211 Saw Mill River Road and is expected to create 1,000 construction jobs, as well as 100 full-time and part-time positions when completed.
An anonymous developer has revealed plans to construct a new six-story self-storage facility in Rockaway Beach, Queens. Located at 106-02 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, the existing lot is currently undeveloped and will require zoning text amendments before the project can break ground.

Pricing begins at $4,000 per month for studio apartments. Compass Development Marketing Group is the exclusive leasing and marketing agent for the property with leasing already having launched at the end of 2020. The building stands at the corner of Varick Street and Broome Street.
