Housing Lottery Launches for 63 Units at 7 Dey Street in Manhattan’s Financial District

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 7 Dey Street, a 34-story mixed-use building designed by FXCollaborative in the Financial District of Manhattan. The lottery is run in cooperation with SL Green, NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and non-profit Settlement Housing Fund. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 63 units for residents at 70 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $45,566 to $167,570.

Finishing Touches Underway on 305 West 48th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Work is wrapping up on 305 West 48th Street, a 27-story hotel in the Midtown, Manhattan neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architects and developed by Bright Management with Rockwell Group as the interior designer, 303-foot-tall tower will yield 73,000 square feet, with 211 guest rooms spread across 59,000 square feet. The site is located at the corner of West 48th Street and Eighth Avenue, a short walk from Times Square and the Theater District. Joy Construction is the general contractor for the building.

Foundation Work Begins for 1841 Broadway on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Foundation work has begun at 1841 Broadway, site of a 24-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Global Holdings Management Group, the 281-foot-tall building will yield 181,319 square feet and 173 units as well as 11,741 square feet of commercial space. Pavarini McGovern, LLC is the general contractor for the project, which will rise at the corner of Broadway and West 60th Street, just north of Columbus Circle and the southwestern corner of Central Park.
