Two 10-Story Residential Buildings With 330 Units Top Out At 1133 Warburton Avenue, Yonkers

Construction has reportedly topped off on the pair of 10-story residential buildings under development at 1133 Warburton Avenue, located in the Greystone neighborhood in northwestern Yonkers. There will be 330 luxury rental apartments between the two buildings, dubbed River Tides at Greystone, Westfair reported. The units will range from studios to two-bedrooms, with amenities including a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and deck. Ginsburg Development Companies is the developer and Warshauer Mellusi Warshauer is the architect. Occupancy is expected in the spring of 2017. Metro-North Railroad’s Greystone station is a stone’s throw away.


52 North Broadway

Residential Redevelopment Proposed at Former Good Counsel High School Campus, 52 North Broadway, White Plains

WB Development NB LLC has proposed to redevelop the 16-acre former Academy of Our Lady of Good Counsel High School campus located at 52 North Broadway, just north of downtown White Plains, in Westchester County. The proposals calls for two 10-story residential buildings with 400 rental apartments between them, a 125-bed assisted living facility, and a four-story, 66-unit dormitory geared toward graduate students at the neighboring Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, Westfair reported. Ten percent of the rentals would be designated as affordable. Roughly 2.7 acres would be preserved as green space and two existing buildings would be preserved. The anonymous LLC is comprised of multiple developers and investors, including Midtown South-based George Comfort & Sons Inc. Perkins Eastman is behind the architecture. The site needs to be rezoned in order for the project to be built. Applications were filed with the city’s Common Council in July.


105 Corporate Park Drive

Five-Story, 421-Unit Residential Complex Approved at 105 Corporate Park Drive, Harrison

The Harrison, N.Y., Town Board has approved plans to build two five-story residential buildings, with a total of 421 residential units, at 105 Corporate Park Drive. Harrison is in southern Westchester County. The residential units will be rental apartments, ranging from studios to two-bedrooms, of which 10 percent (42 units) will be designated as affordable. The complex will be accommodated by 752 parking spaces and a 5,400-square-foot restaurant. The 10.35-acre property is currently occupied by two three-story, 87,700-square-foot office buildings built during the 1970s. Both will be demolished, although the residential complex will take on a similar footprint. Normandy Real Estate Partners and Toll Brothers are the developers. Sullivan Architecture is behind the design. Construction is expected to start during the first half of 2017.


77 West Post Road

Four-Story, 230,000-Square-Foot Mixed-Use Project Proposed for 77 West Post Road, White Plains

Harlem-based Grid Properties is planning a four-story, 230,000-square-foot mixed-use development, dubbed the Boulevard, at 77 West Post Road, located on the southern end of downtown White Plains, in Westchester County. The latest plans call for 220,000 square feet of commercial-retail space, 38,000 square feet of which will be dedicated to a fitness center, Westfair reported. Twelve market-rate one-bedroom rental townhouses are also part of the plan, in addition to a 720-car parking garage. The project was presented to the city’s Common Council back in November, although it will eventually have to be approved by the city’s Planning Board. Philadelphia-based BLT Architects is behind the design. The assemblage is comprised of mostly vacant parcels and single-story commercial buildings.


1177 Warburton Avenue

Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Three-Story, 55-Unit Residential Project at 1177 Warburton Avenue, Yonkers

Since plans were announced in July of 2015 for a three-story, 55-unit residential project at 1177 Warburton Avenue, located on the far-northern end of Yonkers, a groundbreaking ceremony was recently held, Westfair reported. Dubbed 1177@Greystone, the new building will contain luxury rental apartments ranging from 680-square-foot one-bedrooms to 1,245-square-foot three-bedrooms. Amenities include a fitness center and a club room, in addition to a private path to the Greystone station on Metro-North Railroad. Valhalla, N.Y.-based Ginsburg Development Companies is the developer. Completion is expected in 2017. Four vacant, single-family homes were demolished to make way for the new building.
