Renderings Revealed Astoria Cove’s 4-34 26th Avenue, 25-02 9th Street in Astoria, Queens

New renderings have been released for two new residential buildings in the Astoria Cove master plan at 25-02 9th Street and 4-34 26th Avenue in the Halletts Point section of Astoria, Queens. Designed by Fogarty Finger, the structures will stand 26 and seven stories, respectively, and are part of a complex that is planned to yield a total of 469 apartments and 14,500 square feet of commercial space across four buildings. The property is located to the west of 9th Street along the East River waterfront.

Work is progressing on 26-01 4th Street, a 13-story residential building in the Halletts Point section of Astoria, Queens. Designed by Lu Ning Architecture and developed by Ming’s Garden Realty LLC, the structure will yield 143 condominium units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, as well as a 40,034-square-foot community facility and 167 enclosed parking spaces. The property is located on a corner lot bound by 4th Street and 26th Avenue, and was once home to a single-story industrial building.

The Durst Organization has opened a new 100-percent affordable housing property at 3-24 27th Avenue in Astoria, Queens. Designed by Dattner Architects, the 14-story building is located within the Durst Organization’s Halletts Point mega-development, which will eventually comprise seven buildings, 1,920 market rate apartments, and 480 affordable housing units along the East River waterfront.
