Construction is complete on the Logistics Center at Hamilton, a 170,800-square-foot Class A industrial facility at 600 Horizon Drive in Hamilton Township, New Jersey. Developed by FRP Development Corp. in a joint venture with DWS, the approximately 15-acre project delivers modern warehouse space in the Hamilton submarket at the intersection of Interstate 195 and Route 130. It is the company’s first completed logistics development in the state.
The LEED Gold-certified development includes 3,000 square feet of speculative office space and is designed to accommodate either a single tenant or multiple users. Building features include 36-foot clear heights, 27 dock-high loading doors with 40,000-pound levelers, two drive-in doors, 27 trailer parking positions, 185 vehicle parking spaces, 2,000 amps of power, motion-sensing LED lighting, and advanced exterior lighting controls.
The Hamilton facility expands FRP’s growing industrial portfolio, which also includes projects in Parsippany, New Jersey and Davie, Lakeland, Delray Beach, and Minneola, Florida. The company continues to focus on developing infill logistics facilities in supply-constrained markets across the East Coast.
“Completing our first industrial development in New Jersey marks an important milestone as we continue expanding our logistics platform into one of the most supply-constrained and strategically important markets on the East Coast,” said Mark G. Levy, chief investment officer of FRP Holdings, Inc. “Hamilton’s central location between New York and Philadelphia, combined with strong regional fundamentals, positions Logistics Center at Hamilton to meet the evolving needs of modern logistics users.”
