Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 170 Williamsburg Street East in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Bedford Avenue and Lee Avenue, the lot is near the Marcy Avenue subway station, served by the J, M, and Z trains. Yosef Beer is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 38,426 square feet, with 24,556 square feet designated for residential space, 7,072 square feet for community facility space, and 6,797 square feet of commercial space. The building will have 20 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,004 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and four enclosed parking spaces.
Amr Ouda of Jay Architect & Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
