New renderings have been released for 325–337 South Broadway, an eight-story mixed-use building in Yonkers, Westchester County. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Urban Builders Collaborative, the 85-foot-tall structure will yield 181 affordable apartments in studio to three-bedroom layouts. The project will also include 7,940 square feet of commercial space for a U.S. Post Office and a five-story, 350-vehicle parking garage. The property spans three abutting interior lots between Ludlow Street to the north and Morris Street to the south.
The renderings below show the complex’s main eastern elevation. The residential component will sit on the northern end of the block and will feature a multifaceted massing with a setback spanning the entire sixth story. The façade is shown composed of white and reddish-brown paneling surrounding a grid of tall, recessed windows framed with gray accents. The parking structure will occupy the southern end of the property and feature a metal mesh screen with a pattern of interlocking trapezoids. New tree-lined sidewalks will surround the development.
The below aerial perspective offers a better look at the bulk of the residential building, which will extend to the west in a T-shaped configuration. This portion of the structure will be clad in red brick, and a photovoltaic array will cover much of its flat roof.
Most of the design is unchanged from the following outdated rendering, with the primary exception of the municipal parking structure, which would have stood one story taller with a different exterior.

The Google Street View images below show the current occupants of the property along South Broadway: a surface-level city parking lot, the one-story U.S. Post Office, and the vacant Flynn Memorial Home.
The development’s 181 apartments will be divided into 71 studios, 62 one-bedrooms, 34 two-bedrooms, and 14 three-bedroom units. One of the units will be reserved for the building’s superintendent. Of the 350 new parking spots, nine would be located at the rear of the new structure and serve the upcoming commercial space. The U.S. Post Office would temporarily relocate during construction.
The ground level will contain a lobby, a management office, a security office, a mail room, a package room, shared laundry facilities, and a fitness center. There will also be a private children’s playground on the north side of the property.
Last year, the Yonkers Industrial Development Agency (YIDA) issued preliminary approval of financial incentives for the multifamily residential project, which is projected to cost $159.4 million and create approximately 300 construction jobs. These incentives will include a sales tax exemption of $4,324,227, a mortgage tax exemption of $1,106,700, and a 33-year real property tax exemption.
Construction is expected to begin in December 2025. An anticipated completion date has yet to be announced.

It looks like a hospital.
Completely agree. It’s going to look ridiculous against all the one/two-story buildings around it.
