Permits have been filed for a 14-story mixed-use building at 67 4th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Located between Bergen Street and St. Marks Place, the lot is near the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center subway station, served by the B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. Shimon Kleinman is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 145-foot-tall development will yield 88,943 square feet, with 83,071 square feet designated for residential space and 5,872 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 99 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 839 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar.
Kao Hwa Lee Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Well the development site is obviously more than just the one lot. The question is how many of those walk-ups are included. Might go all the way to the corner.
look at the historical buildings and then the disaster to the left. I expect there will be creep of the new.
The new build next door wouldn’t be so bad without the stupid useless balconies and the greedy extra floor squeezed in resulting in that ground floor built for Lilliputians, which like city-wide, looks ridiculous next to the height of older commercial storefronts.
Balconies are great amenities, just don’t make them ugly.
Fourth Avenue south of Flatbush & Atlantic Termminal was rezoned more than 12 years ago, to preserve nearby brownstone bdgs and streets (which I love); allowing tall bldgs for population growth near transit hubs. This project must meet zoning and height laws, can’t be stopped for esthetic objections or Brooklyn fsul to grow, and become even more expensive.
