Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 562 West 171st Street in Inwood, Manhattan. Located between Audubon Avenue and St. Nicholas Avenue, the lot is near the 168th Street subway station, served by the A and C trains. Mike Reznik of WH Capital 171 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 64-foot-tall development will yield 42,299 square feet, with 34,821 square feet designated for residential space and 7,478 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 46 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 756 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.
Z Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in December 2024. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Fairly sure this is part of their same project at 563 W 170 St.
Also this is Washington Heights not Inwood. Good lord.
It should have parking. The area there , which I live near has no room for car parking and subways are inadequate. The A train has been in repair for THREE YEARS, and counting.
Why should it have parking? It is an extremely urban neighborhood with good public transit access. The vast majority of the existing housing stock was built before Robert Moses’s parking minimums
Absolutely correct, building parking there is completely unnecessary. Also, if it is served by the A & C at 168th, that means it is also served by the 1 at the same stop.
This is NOT Inwood!
This is Washington Heights near Presbyterian.
NotInwood. Inwood starts about a mile north
A few blocks away on W167 and Audubon Columbia building a biotech research building.
What bot writes this? Inwood is over a mile farther north.
