Construction is nearing completion on 20 and 30 Halletts Point, a pair of residential buildings in Astoria, Queens. Developed by the Durst Organization and designed by Handel Architects, the towers constitute the second phase of the Halletts Point development, which plans to yield more than 2,000 residential units in total. Completion for this phase of the project will add 647 residential units to the area, more than doubling the existing 405 that phase one brought with the completion of 10 Halletts Point in 2019.

Apartments at 20 and 30 Halletts Point are offered in studio, one-, and two-bedroom configurations, with each unit offering quartz countertops, smart thermostats, and double-pane floor-to-ceiling windows. Each building features on-site water recycling and 3,500 square feet of green roofs. The Durst Organization anticipates both buildings will achieve LEED Platinum certification.

Amenities across 10, 20, and 30 Halletts Point span 39,000 square feet in total and feature fitness centers, lounges, and an outdoor terrace with city and river views. In addition, the broader Halletts Point campus features an esplanade along the East River waterfront that is home to playgrounds and picnic areas. First move-ins for 20 and 30 Halletts Point are anticipated in spring 2025.

“Halletts Point has been transformed into a waterfront oasis,” said Jody Durst, president of The Durst Organization. “With new housing, retail, spectacular views of the East River and Manhattan, and beautifully conceived public open space, residents have a tranquil home, a connection to nature, and quick access to everything that Astoria and New York City have to offer.”
