Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 34-20 Junction Boulevard in Corona, Queens. Located between 34th Avenue and 34th Road, the corner lot is near the Junction Boulevard subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Shorewood Real Estate Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 157,761 square feet, with 127,654 square feet designated for residential space and 30,107 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 164 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 778 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, 82 enclosed parking spaces, and two loading berths.

Dattner Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

    Keep building, Queens. It’s a shame all that money spent on a parking garage could have gone to more apartments.

    • Queens is going to have an insane amount of cars on the road.

      Queens even embraced the parking garage building in the late 1930s, well before it was required.
