The Paradox Museum has opened its doors at New Jersey’s American Dream Mall in East Rutherford. Completed by JRM Construction Management with architect Mancini Duffy, the 11,000-square-foot facility features more than 70 interactive digital and immersive exhibits for both children and adults.

Upon arrival at the museum, guests are greeted by a distinctive storefront with high-gloss illuminated cubes and playful signage encouraging patrons to “think again.” The floor plan is designed as a one-direction throughway that takes visitors on a journey through rooms and hallways filled with optical illusions and wonky displays.

“We’re incredibly excited to finally be able to bring the unique, one-of-a-kind experience that only the Paradox Museum can offer, to New Jersey,” said Marc Gregory Tipton, regional sales and marketing manager, Paradox Museum. “We could not imagine a better home for the museum than American Dream and know that once guests enter through our doors they’ll be drawn to fully explore the intricacies of the paradoxes before them, challenged to think again and again about what’s real and what’s not.”

Founded by the Paradox Group, the New Jersey destination joins three other Paradox Museums in the United States and five locations in Europe. At American Dream, visits take an average of 60 to 90 minutes, according to the museum’s creators.
